I am not active on Deviantart at all. I don't upload new work and every once in a while I check my messages just in case. So I am sorry if I gave late responses. If you need me for anything urgent you can always e-mail me at email@example.com and I will reply as soon as possible.
So much has changed since my last journal where I was talking about a new start. Ever since then things just went going better and better. My work has improved by far. I do not only use Photoshop anymore but I prefer Illustrator to play in now. I know InDesign out of the head (although that won't help me making great work for on Deviantart) and I am getting better in software as Cinema 4D and After Effects for animations.
Yea.. funny how things go. You never know where you will end up but I did learn to not pay too much attention to anyone who would tell you, you can not do what you would like. You got no idea how often I was told I would need help to study. People would worry how I would end up because I suck at concentrating and studying and being creative is nice but where does it get you?
Then I started at an intern and it went perfectly. I also ended up working for him for a while afterwards.
After that, last year, I got a position at Ogilvy Amsterdam, an international advertising agency standing in the top 10 world wide, and in the top 3 in the Netherlands. I was offered a job but they took that back because financially it was not possible. That is a bummer.. but I gotten so much experience, I made so many great stuff. I got to work for big companies and with a big company. That is also the reason why I do not upload any more stuff anymore. I gotten so busy and the work I do on my intern I can not post online. Besides.. it is not the kind of work I would upload on here but it surely is work I am proud of.
Either way. In my previous journal I was talking about a new start. I am passed that now but even so I am still at the beginning. I have seen only a glimpse of the advertising world and man.. I want to learn more, see more, create more. I love this creative world.
